Looks like we are done

this is over, this is done and what did I learn from this opportunity.

First and foremost, I do not have a lot of free time to do this at home nor do I have time to do this during work time.

Did I learn anything about what is out there: yes I learned that I am years behind what is out there and while I choose not to do research and check these sites out, I was glad ot have this opportunity to broaden my horizones on the world wide web.

When I find some free time, I may go back and review what I missed, what I did not allow myself enought time to grasp that weeks concept.

It was not "all for not as they say" WHO are they...well you will have to do a search on the web to find out ~ haha

This was hard to do and rather complicated ~ did not think it was THAT hard but once I started to get into it, it was okay.

Podcasts are easy to do and I actually posted a podcast from KFI radio station and have added two programs into my RRS feeds so it is on my home computer for me to click on any time.
I like Podcasts and that has been the best one for me besdies RRS feeds of which I am NOW obsessed with them.
I question if the RRS feeds are now making my computer slower?

Okay, so I am spending my time with the last 2 weeks I have missed.

I did the paragragh in zohowriter after another PASSWORD haha
well, I must be THAT uninformed that I spend 20 minutes looking for how the heck to get out of there AND just what the heck was I suppose to do with my one paragragh??
The good news is I am listening to 70's music so I can bee bopp to the music as I sit here even more frustrated than before.

And so I need to tell you if we would use this at Greenway and my response is use WHAT?? haha
I like that I can see the many templates that they have on the zoho write but that is about all I have seen.
I may get out of it and then go back in to see if it makes more sense to me.


OHHH did someone say Graduation...Does that mean I passed - haha

No time to banter on, I better get to my last assisgnment. And I have already completed the survey.

Enough with ALL the Passwords

okay, so I am a week behind.
And so today I am working on last week Delicious work..which in fact is 2 weeks too old!!!!
I get another password and make 6 bookmarks ~ I check in on this and they are okay, NOT sure how or even what I will do with this.

Then you have me doing this week's work and GREAT, I have to have another password and ya gotta know I am getting TOO old to have all of these sites AND remember what sites I have out there.
Oh sure I can save as favourites but who the heck has time to go back and remember just why I made that a favourite (ha ha)

But the good news story today. I am becoming a RRS or RSS feed addict. Now as I go to some of MY fav sites or check things out and it has that link on it ~ I click on and add it ~ ya hoo for me.
Then when I go online, I check to see what is updated on my feeds. THAT is great for me both at home and at work.

And so I guess what I am telling you Miss Jenny, I am going to shut this down for the day and my week assignment is half assed completed.

I will have a great day and I trust you will also.

I am sure I will get better at this soon (ha ha)

RRS Feeds ~ WOW Who would have thought!!

WOW, it seems like I DID learn something here ~ haha
I did not fully understand what the RRS feeds meant but NOW I do and I am obsessed with them.

Now when I go to a site and it has the orange link to it, I click on and then I have it as an easy resource for a later time!!! WHO ~ HOO I learned something NEW

Having said that exciting thing, I better get my homework completed for last week. I sort of ran out of time but will work on it this week.

This is cool.

Assignment #5

Library Thing and Green site

well, I gotta tell you it is almost 9pm on Thanksgiving Monday and yes I am doing my homework now.

I added the Green site to our Greenway Facebook site ~ ok, now I can say I want to make the environment a better place.

I did the Library Thing and added 4 books. I then went on the the site and wow info overload for one night.
I am more than sure that I will go back and review what people have said about books etc. That will have to wait for another day.

And so, in terms of this week ~ I did it but did not allow myself enough time to get it and more so process it.

Part Two ~ Looks like I may have gotten it:)

I set up an account for Bloglines
I looked at a bunch of feeds and made a few of them my favourites

Would I use this often ~
My response to many of these things is simple ~ If I had more time to focus on all of these things and to take the time to "get them" I think it would be great.

Truth be told, I do not have the time to stop and learn this stuff.
Or perhaps I should say, I choose to not sit on my computer on the weekends to learn this stuff.

I did like that I was able to read some pretty neat feeds and I may go back at some time to read what my fav's say.

I chuckle as I think to myself.....silly did you bite off more than you can chew??
I am liking this opportunity to learn new things, but now I really do understand that I am a VISUAL learner and I have difficulty reading and then doing. It would be easier for me if there was someone beside me showing me and I could do.

Well, Bring on the Next Assignment (ha ha)
