RRS Feeds ~ WOW Who would have thought!!

WOW, it seems like I DID learn something here ~ haha
I did not fully understand what the RRS feeds meant but NOW I do and I am obsessed with them.

Now when I go to a site and it has the orange link to it, I click on and then I have it as an easy resource for a later time!!! WHO ~ HOO I learned something NEW

Having said that exciting thing, I better get my homework completed for last week. I sort of ran out of time but will work on it this week.

This is cool.

Assignment #5

Library Thing and Green site

well, I gotta tell you it is almost 9pm on Thanksgiving Monday and yes I am doing my homework now.

I added the Green site to our Greenway Facebook site ~ ok, now I can say I want to make the environment a better place.

I did the Library Thing and added 4 books. I then went on the the site and wow info overload for one night.
I am more than sure that I will go back and review what people have said about books etc. That will have to wait for another day.

And so, in terms of this week ~ I did it but did not allow myself enough time to get it and more so process it.

Part Two ~ Looks like I may have gotten it:)

I set up an account for Bloglines
I looked at a bunch of feeds and made a few of them my favourites

Would I use this often ~
My response to many of these things is simple ~ If I had more time to focus on all of these things and to take the time to "get them" I think it would be great.

Truth be told, I do not have the time to stop and learn this stuff.
Or perhaps I should say, I choose to not sit on my computer on the weekends to learn this stuff.

I did like that I was able to read some pretty neat feeds and I may go back at some time to read what my fav's say.

I chuckle as I think to myself.....silly did you bite off more than you can chew??
I am liking this opportunity to learn new things, but now I really do understand that I am a VISUAL learner and I have difficulty reading and then doing. It would be easier for me if there was someone beside me showing me and I could do.

Well, Bring on the Next Assignment (ha ha)

I have downloaded the Feedreader and have NO clue how to do the next step.

This is enough for one day.

I will revisit this tomorrow and get it completed.

Week 2 Flickr

I can see that all of this is FARRR too new to me.
I looked at the pictures and wondered how we could post something like that.

The issue for us is privacy and permission to put pictures on our website ~ who is out there; what will they do with the pictures etc.

I am liking what I am learning here but also acknowledge that some of this stuff is WAYYY beyond my scope. I am enjoying learning some new things though.

Now how the heck do I make you guys my followers? Pat, you seem to know how to do it ~ can you help me out?

This is all new to me and we will see where this takes me.
Part of me is excited to learn new things thru this opportunity.
I have never blogged before, this will be interesting for me.
